Beach Tennis is a racket sport played on sand courts with rules and scoring similar to the classic tennis match. We'll explain all the rules, provide you with a racket to play during the session, show you the essentials to get you started. We provide variety of classes where you can practice your beach tennis skills and play games: Coached session These sessions are designed to improve technique, physical conditioning and strategic understanding through drills, exercises and practice routines tailored to the individual needs of the participants. Our coach explains the details of each shot and guides players through the process. Coached matchplay During these sessions individuals or teams compete against each other in a supervised setting, with the coach providing feedback, strategy advice and skill development opportunities. The focus is on improving performance, sportsmanship and understanding game tactics while receiving guidance from a knowledgeable mentor.

GRADED SESSIONS Each of our sessions is graded. Receiving a grading is not obligatory. Without the grading you're able to join any of the ALL LEVELS sessions. Currently we provide sessions with two types of grades: ALL LEVELS: these sessions welcome players of all levels. You'll have a chance to practice both basic and more advanced shots. To join all level sessions you don't need to receive a grading, but if you're curious what level you are, if you can join the INT/ADV sessions and how far are you from the higher level - make sure to join one of the ALL LEVELS coaching sessions and request your grading from our Head Coach Chris. INT/ADV: these sessions are dedicated to players that have received intermediate and advanced level grading. They require a set of skills to enable the progress within the group. You'll learn more advanced shots, techniques and tactics, that will elevate your game even further. How to get the grading? First, you need to join one of our all levels coached sessions (coaching session or coached matchplay). Our Head Coach Chris will then be able to assess your current skills and provide feedback. To receive the grading make sure to reach out to our Head Coach Chris and request the grading. If you receive intermediate or advanced level grade, you'll be able to join the INT/ADV classes in addition to ALL LEVELS groups.

Yes! We provide private and small group beach tennis sessions of up to 4 participants in London and Brighton. The sessions aim at providing guidance tailored to your specific needs. Yes! Starting May 5th 2026 we'll offer junior sessions at the Yellowave Hove venue. Sessions run on Tuesdays: 16:00 - 17:00 age 9-12 17:00 - 18:00 age 13-16 Junior sessions run in 4-week blocks at £48 (£12 per session), rather than weekly drop-ins, to keep groups consistent and help kids progress. If joining partway through a block, the remaining sessions can be booked accordingly. Please note that sessions are non-refundable and cannot be carried over if missed, as spaces are reserved for the full block.

Yes! We do offer Corporate and Special Beach Tennis Events. Depending on the size of your group and the occasion we prepare bespoke plan to accommodate big groups of mixed ability players. We organise custom off-site events, team building activities and tournaments. Contact us with details and we'll get back to you with a proposal!

We provide all the necessary equipment during all our sessions. However, many players have their own beach tennis rackets that they're used to playing with. We partner with Dropshot and Quicksand brands that specialise in Beach Tennis and Padel equipment. If you're interested in getting your own racket contact us and we can bring them for you to try out!

In general beach tennis is played barefoot. However, especially during winter months, when the temperature drops below 15 degrees many players wear neoprene socks which adds a layer between your feet and sand. There are different types of socks and you can usually get them in major sports shops. Usually the 3mm or 5mm thickness is enough and you might want to wear standard socks underneath.

We always monitor the weather forecast for each session to anticipate any bad conditions. Typically, we play in light or moderate rainfall and only stop if the conditions become too harsh. Don't worry, there is always a nearby shelter available if the rain gets heavier. Please bear in mind that the weather can be unpredictable, and we may make a last-minute call on whether to proceed with the session or cancel it, sometimes just an hour or less beforehand. Despite the occasional British weather surprises, we haven't had to cancel any sessions due to bad weather so far. Assume the session is on unless you hear otherwise and stay prepared to play. Keep an eye on our WhatsApp group for any updates. If there's no message from our team canceling the session, it will go ahead. If you do not show up to the session, the full booking fee will still apply. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
